TCC consultancy is grounded in five years of real, school-based EPI transition. Not theory. Not observation from a distance. A genuine, documented, whole-department shift from traditional language teaching to a fully sequenced EPI and MARSEARS curriculum, built from scratch, trialed honestly and measured carefully.

In 2023, 47 students chose to continue languages into Year 10. By 2025, that number was 120.

That kind of result does not happen by accident. It happens when a department commits to a method, builds it carefully and keeps refining it over time.

How It Works

Phase 1: Intensive Start

Approximately one term. Fixed price.

The foundation phase. This is where we establish a clear picture of where your department is now and where it needs to go. It includes a diagnostic conversation, classroom observations if appropriate, a review of your current curriculum and assessment, and the development of a Health Check Summary and Long-Term Roadmap. Initial professional development is also built into this phase so that teachers have something practical to work with from the beginning.

By the end of Phase 1, your school will have a clear, honest picture of its current practice and a realistic plan for what comes next.

Phase 2: Implementation Support

Per term. Retainer model.

This is where the real work happens. Phase 2 provides ongoing support as your team begins implementing EPI and MARSEARS in earnest. It includes regular check-ins, planning sessions, coaching cycles, curriculum and assessment redesign, and ongoing professional development tailored to what your teachers are actually experiencing in their classrooms.

This phase is designed to flex with your school. Some terms will require more intensive support. Others will be lighter. The retainer model reflects that reality.

Phase 3: Light Touch

As needed. Low-cost retainer or ad hoc.

Once your team is confident and the approach is embedded, ongoing support becomes lighter. Phase 3 keeps TCC available for questions, annual curriculum reviews, new staff onboarding and any moments where your department wants a second opinion or a fresh set of eyes. Think of it as having an expert available when you need one, without the overhead of ongoing intensive support.

Consultancy at TCC can be funded through a range of existing school funding streams including the Student Resource Package, Languages equity funding, the Teacher Incentives Program and Community Language Schools funding. We are happy to provide all necessary documentation to support your booking process. We accept purchase orders from both public and private schools.
